Coach Shelia Byrd

Founder/Head Coach

Coach Shelia has 15 years of coaching experience, including 5 years at the North High School Girls Lacrosse Program and 13 years as the Vogel Athletic Director. She is in her first year at Castle High as the Head Varsity Coach.

Coach Ashley Byrd

Head Coach

Coach Ashley is finishing her last season at Asbury University. She currently holds records in all-time leading scorer, points, and assists. Ashley has 9 been playing lacrosse for 9 years and was a three-time captain at her high school, and University. Has been awarded in the 2nd team All-Conference for her university.

Coach Laynee Harding

U-12 Coach

Coach Laynee Harding comes to Blue Devils with excitement to teach the younger group of girls the sport. She has been a 4-year varsity player at Castle High school and is captain her senior year. She has played travel lacrosse for Paradise City and SILZ.

Coach Kat Ivey

Assistant Coach

Coach Kat Ivey is in her second year at Asbury University. She comes from Louisville, KY. She helped with the program last year and is excited to come back and work with the offense.

Coach Mia Doron

Assistant Coach

Coach Mia Doron is our defensive coach who really helps out and pours into the girls. She is in her third year at Asbury University. She comes from Pennsylvania and has been playing since elementary school. She does great with teaching the draw and defensive skills the girls will need. She has received 2nd team All-Conference and leads her team in the most draw controls wins.
